Kensington and Chelsea community groups! Do you run projects that help counter extremism and build stronger communities?

If so, take a look at the Home Office’s ‘Building a Stronger Britain Together’ programme as there’s in-kind support and grant funding available…

Grants are available in two ranges: £1000 – £15,000 and £15,000 – £50,000 for projects that aim to create:

  • fewer people holding attitudes, beliefs and feelings that oppose shared values;
  • an increased sense of belonging and civic participation at the local level;
  • more resilient communities.

The deadline for submission is Monday, 6 February (5pm) and more information, including the application process, can be found on the GOV.UK website.

But that’s not all – there’s also ‘in-kind support’ available for organisations in things such as social media training, assistance to improve your website and training and capacity building to help you achieve your aims. This support is available all year round and further details can be found on the GOV.UK website (above).
