The challenge is all about trying to do as many screen-free activities as possible over the summer. And there are great prizes to be won too!
As part of the campaign, all primary school children in Golborne have been given a guide of 45 things to do in or around Golborne this summer. The idea is that children do as many of these activities as possible, gaining reward stickers for each one they do and even for screen-free activities not listed in the guide. At the end of the summer, children can hand back in their guides at various locations and win prizes including a kid’s bike, tickets to the zoo, swimming passes and many more.
To find out more details of the challenge, where you can pick up reward stickers and copies of the guide from and where and when to hand back guides to enter the competition, visit the Unplug & Play Summer Challenge page on the Go Golborne website.
You can also read the Unplug & Play ’45 things to do…’ guide online at the Go Golborne online library.
