Looking to get a little more active? Across Kensington and Chelsea there are dozens of free or low-cost activities and classes on offer from the borough’s Sports Development Team and partners to help you do just that. Swimsanity

Every Tuesday at Kensington Leisure Centre (W10 6EX) from 6:30-7:30pm

Cost: £2.10

A high intensity aqua class for men and women that incorporates swimming stroke techniques to help the body learn swim movements.

Instructor-led Gym Classes

Every Tuesday, 4:30pm-5:30pm at Westway Sports, 3-5 Thorpe Close (W10 5XL). Cost: £1.50

Every Thursday:

10:30am-11:30am at Chelsea Sports Centre (SW3 5PL). Cost:£2.10.

2pm-3pm at Kensington Leisure Centre (W10 6EX). Cost:£2.10.

3:30pm-4:30pm at Westway Sports – Men Only (W10 5XL). Cost: £1.50.

Suitable for all abilities, but designed for beginners, gym instructors will be on hand to create and deliver gym plans and provide instruction for using all exercise machines.

Spin Class (Women Only)

Every Wednesday, 5.45pm-6.30pm at Kensington Leisure Centre (W10 6EX). Cost: £2.10

Get on yer (exercise) bike and get into a spin to burn calories and relieve stress. Spin focuses on endurance, strength, high intensity and recovery.

Move & Glow

Every Tuesday, 6pm-7pm at Venture Community Centre (W10 5YB). Cost: £2.00.

Move & Glow is a full body workout, to a pumping soundtrack that provides peaks and troughs of intensity. So, crack out the glow sticks and get moving!

Mind & Body Yoga

Every Wednesday, 9:30am-10:30am at Earl’s Court Health and Wellbeing Centre (SW5 0PT). Cost: £1.50.

A holistic approach to body, mind and spirit. Mind & Body classes include stretching, flexing, breathing awareness and of course, relaxation.

Yoga for Disabled Adults

Every Wednesday, 10:00am-11:00am at Kensington Leisure Centre (W10 6EX). Cost: FREE

Focusing upon physical posture and breathing, each pose can be modified or adapted to meet the needs of the student. Yoga can also be performed while seated in a chair or wheelchair.
