Chelsea Theatre is running a series of ‘talking circles’ workshops aimed at bringing women together and encouraging them to talk about their lives in a relaxed community atmosphere.
The ChelShe Circle is a free series of workshops which run on Sundays from 1pm to 3pm until Sunday 10 April.
Talking circles are a way to bring people together and encourage them to share tales from their lives in a supportive and non-critical group. There will also be a creative opportunity to express their life experiences through some simple art activities.
Founder Hatty Duffy said: “As a woman I know that we often have several roles to fill throughout our average day and that this often prevents us from giving ourselves the quality time we deserve. This can lead to a feeling of being disconnected from our true selves. Therefore, I have created this workshop as a means to help women give themselves the space to feel nurtured, to begin to come home to themselves, and to feel supported doing this by the other local women.”
The ChelShe Circle will be held at Chelsea Theatre, 7 Worlds End Place, Kings Road, London SW10 0DR. For more information or to book a place contact Hatty on 07949 187 611 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
