Bargain hunters and recycling heroes – the Kensington and Chelsea Swap Shop is pitching up at Kensal Community Centre (177 Kensal Road, W10 5BL) on Saturday, 26 March from 12noon-4pm.
You can bring clothes, books, CDs, DVDs, toys, paired shoes and much more. If you have large items such as furniture or white goods, please do not bring these with you but bring a photo, a description and contact details for display. If you don’t have anything to swap you can still come along and pick up a bargain.
Other items that can be recycled, but can’t be swapped, include small electrical items, bicycles, household batteries, printer cartridges, low-energy light bulbs and mobile phones.
The Swap Shop is also looking for volunteers to help run the event and help people with the swapping process. If you are interested in getting involved, do contact Toye at Toye.Ogunleye@lbhf.gov.uk.
