Parents of the borough! This Easter the aptly-named inclusive theatre company, Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea are launching an egg-stra special Easter holiday project

The project is a great opportunity for children to develop their performance skills in drama, music, dance and singing using Chickenshed’s proven teaching methods and unique performance style.

During the week participants will work together to create an original piece based on ideas and concepts from The Grimm Fairy Tales that family and friends will be invited to see at the end of the week. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience.

And if you’d rather watch from the comfort of a theatre seat, the Chelsea Youth Theatre are teaming up with Chickenshed as part of the Connections Festival…

Take Away tells the story of a town which is in the grip of onions.  Darcus, a travelling poet, turns up and offers to rid the town of the onions with his rhymes, for a small fee.  Take Away is a poetic ensemble piece about a community who pay the price for refusing to keep their promise.
