Lisa’s role as a Community Kitchen Gardener sees her out and about in the Royal Borough helping residents to keep their community kitchen gardens growing. Her role is also seasonal between February and November so she needs to fight off any cold symptoms as soon as they appear!  So, next time you feel like your coming down with a cold, why not try her recipe below?

  • 15-20 black pepper corns
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Crush the peppercorns and garlic and stir into the honey and add to half a cup of warm water. After drinking, head to bed… you should wake up feeling much better!
