On Tuesday, January 12 the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) will hold a public meeting on the LFEPA 2016/17 budget consulation.

This consultation includes proposals for the removal of the second fire tender (and therefore the crew) from Chelsea Fire Station.

The meetings will take place on:

  • Tuesday, 12 January at Open Door Community Centre, Keevil Drive, Beaumont Road, Wandsworth, SW19 6TF from 7pm – 9pm
  • Monday, 18 January at Smile Suite, Prospero House, 241 Borough High Street, Southwark, SE 1GA from 7pm-9pm
  • Wednesday, 20 January at The Old Town Hall, 29 Broadway, Stratford, E15 4BQ from 7pm-9pm

An online meeting will also be conducted between 12.30pm-1.30pm on the London Fire website on Friday, 22 January.

The consultation is due to run until 1 February 2016 and comments can be made at www.london-fire.gov.uk. Consultation documents can be requested via telephone – 0800 689 3489.
