Core Blimey!  Don’t get pipped to the post and feel rotten by missing out on this tasting opportunity.

Come along and have a go at pressing newly harvested apples at the Ecology Centre on Saturday 17 October.

There are varieties to tickle every type of taste bud – from the Royal Gala noted for its sweet flavour and crisp texture to the Cox renowned for its balance of flavours and tartness and the Bramley well known for its sharp tang.

The pressing offers a chance to see a traditional method of making apple juice in practice and is an ideal family event.

In addition to pressing apples there is an opportunity to take part in games and crafts including: a longest peel competition, an apple quiz, apple printing and making an apple bird feeder.

Booking is not necessary just pop into the Ecology Centre anytime between 12 and 4pm.
