Athlone Gardens is managed and maintained by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. To facilitate the Wornington Green development project the park has undergone a number of changes over recent years. In 2016 the park will reach its next major phase which will then remain in place for at least 7 years. This open space is available for public use, forming a park until the development is completed in 2022. The remaining area will then be released to the council, to form a permanent public park.
he council would like to work with local community to make sure that the new temporary park is a great open space, designed by the people who will use it. We have taken on board the feedback received from previous consultation and have a proposed design.
Deadline for comments is Sunday 20 September 2015
