The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is currently seeking residents to help keep the Council on its toes, by volunteering for the Resident Reviewers Mystery Shopping Project.
The project involves 50 ‘mystery’ residents telephoning, visiting and emailing Council services and asking for help with made up, but realistic enquiries such as telephoning Parking with a query about parking restrictions. Reviewers rate the quality of their experience to help identify areas for improvement.
Over the past 10 years the project has involved over 250 residents, carrying out in excess of 70 mystery shopping exercises on a range of Council services. Reviews have included: the borough’s Libraries, Council Tax, Parking, Planning, Parks and many more.
So if you care about the quality of Council services and would like to put us to the test why not volunteer. We are looking for borough residents over 18 who can take part in two or three exercises per year. In return for taking part you will be rewarded with gift vouchers (typically £40 each time).
