OWL logo - largeOn Thursday 22 January 2015, local police officers will be out-and-about around Notting Hill to speak to residents about OWL, a new online neighbourhood watch and community engagement system.

There will also be OWL information stalls at Trellick Tower on Golborne Road and Portobello Road (at the junction with Talbot Road) at 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Residents will be able to sign up to OWL as well meeting officers from the local neighbourhood policing team.

OWL is currently used by a number of other police forces in England and Wales very successfully, and passes on local crime information to you from your local police, specific to your area. OWL is a great way of helping the community to prevent and detect crime, support one another and be more aware of the specific crime that is happening in their area.

Once signed up to OWL you will receive weekly burglary updates, crime alerts and crime prevention advice from your local police relevant to the particular crimes in your area direct to your inbox.

For further information please visit www.owl.co.uk/met to register or speak to your Neighbourhood Watch liaison officer PC Sally Pymont on 020 8721 3005.
