This year’s Compact Week takes place from Monday 3 November to Friday 7 November 2014. This annual event is held to promote the Compact, the longstanding agreement that sets out shared commitments and guidelines for partnership working between local government and the voluntary and community sector.
Kensington and Chelsea was one of the first areas in the country to develop a compact with its local voluntary and community sector. Today it remains a really important document for anyone who works in or with the local voluntary sector. It contains a set of principles and standards which guide relationships across sectors.
