asknickThe Leader of the Council, Cllr Nick Paget-Brown, hosted the fifth Ask Nick this month at the Dalgarno Community Centre where North Kensington residents had the chance to put questions to him and the panel.

In an hour and a half of lively Q&A, key issues in the area were discussed, including the Council budget, outsourcing of Council services, road traffic and Little Wormwood Scrubs.

The Leader was joined by Councillor Timothy Coleridge, Cabinet Member for Planning Policy, Transport and Arts and Councillor Gerard Hargreaves, Cabinet Member for Voluntary Organisations and Resident Engagement, with a number of other councillors in attendance. Council staff and the police were also on hand at a selection of information stands with advice, guidance and useful materials to take away.

Residents who came were overwhelmingly positive, with one resident describing it as “informative, well managed with a good range of topics”. Another implored: “we need to keep this going!”, which is fortunate as another Ask Nick is planned for Central Kensington in early 2015.
