Next week is Hate Crime Awareness Week, aimed at tackling local hate crime issues by raising awareness of the nature of hate crime and how to respond, the importance of reporting and promoting the local support services available.
In our borough, the Police will be running stalls with Victim Support & GALOP where you can drop in and find out more about the support available and seek advice. The stalls will be at Kensington Town Hall on the following dates:
Wednesday, 15th October, 10.00am-12.00pm
Thursday, 16th October, 2.00pm-4.00pm
If you cannot make the stalls but will still like to find out more about what hate crime is, and the support available, Victim Support and the Safer K&C Partnership have produced the following Hate Crime Leaflet
