On September 16th, Chelsea Theatre premiered this short film, made by residents of World’s End and Lots Road, discussing their area and how they would use Big Local to transform their area. With excellent attendance, the standing-room only meeting also took huge steps towards setting their Big Local priorities as the findings of the youth consultation were shared.

The Big Local is always looking to involve more residents of the Worlds End and Lots Road area, and here’s Vanessa to tell you more…

Hi My name is Vanessa and I am the Community Project Worker for the Big Local.

What is Big Local? Big Local is an exciting opportunity for residents in 150 areas around England to use at least £1m to make a massive and lasting positive difference to their communities. It’s about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make their area an even better place to live.

I have been getting to know Big Local residents and finding out how they would like to spend the money. Please pop into the Chelsea Theatre to see me if you would like to share your ideas.

Your money your say!

There is a lot of activity next month and the chance for you to have your say on how the Big Local funding should be spent, including the first ever Big Local’s Got Talent on October 26th at Chelsea Theatre.
