Voluntary and community organisations already working with the Royal Borough are being invited to apply for grants of up to £5,000 to help fund community safety priorities before Monday 30 June. The Kensington and Chelsea Community Safety Partnership will consider giving grants that fit with its aims to reduce:

– violence against women and girls
– serious youth violence
– burglary
– theft from the person
– antisocial behaviour, with a focus on vulnerable victims and repeat locations

Funding will only be provided for projects to be delivered between 1 August 2014 and 31 March 2015.

The Partnership’s priorities for the next three years are based on consultation with local residents and a thorough analysis of all available information about community safety issues.

For further information and to apply for an Action Grant of between £2,000 and £5,000, click here and return the application by noon on Monday 30 June.

Any questions should be sent to commsafe@rbkc.gov.uk by Friday 13 June.
