CACPOPUP3Chelsea Arts Collective (CAC) is a new grassroots initiative by the painter Lilia Pegado and arts journalist (The Times) and curator Donald Hutera.

CAC aims to provides artists and residents of RBKC with opportunities for stimulating and creative expression and exchange; to encourage and promote emerging artistic talent.

CAC’s focus is two-fold. Lilia’s visual art classes follows the principles of the Quadrangle, a unique absorbing system of painting and thought (individual and communal). At the same time, with the support of Chelsea association of Tenants (CATS) and City Living Local Life, the talent hunted Donald launched a series of live Spring Performances. These spotlight all aspects of performing arts (some work in progress), spanning generations and genres.

Building on initial success, CAC is hosting 2 days of POP-UP arts exhibition and evening performances. During the day (12.30pm-5.30pm), this showcases new innovative and unseen artwork by local residents and others as well as paintings produced in Lilia’s classes. Why not join for afternoon tea? There will be many delicious temptations and a tombola!

Each night from 7.30pm, enjoy a wide-ranging array of engaging performances from a roster of international artistes to delight you…not be missed!
