On Saturday 7 June the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation is taking over St Michael’s off Elizabeth Street (behind Sloane Square) for a fun-packed day of activities aimed at children aged 9 and under and their parents. The aim of the day is to raise funds and awareness for the Summer Sparks initiative.
Activities will include arts and crafts, smoothie-making, a pocket money stall from renowned Portobello toy shop Honey Jam, a nearly new sale and high energy entertainment. Amanda’s Action Club will be in residence from midday with Sharky & George taking over the reins at 2.30pm. Kensington Mums is coordinating a Nearly New Sale for high quality baby and children’s clothes, toys and equipment.
We’ve also got a raffle with some fantastic prizes including a £100 voucher from Jack Wills and a £30 voucher from Trotters.
Please join us on the day or book a table to sell your pre-loved children’s clothes, toys and baby equipment as part of the Nearly New Sale, organised in partnership with Kensington Mums.
All funds raised on the day will support our five community partners, enabling them to provide more activities over the summer holiday period for local young people with very limited opportunities (see our post on the launch of Summer Sparks here)
