Kensington Central Library hosts John Kirk, who will present a reinterpretation of award winning author and former children’s laureate Michael Morpurgo’s acclaimed story Private Peaceful. Join Private Thomas Peaceful as he remembers his life and times, and his part in a war that would change his life forever.

“They’ve gone now, and I’m alone at last.  I have the whole night ahead of me, and I won’t waste a single moment of it… I want tonight to be long, as long as my life…”

John Kirk is an accomplished storyteller and he enjoys bringing stories to life with dynamic and imaginative ideas. This event is presented with the permission of Berlin Associates. Places are limited to this event, so please book your free place early at Kensington Central Library.
